Do you record the sound with the filmcamera or did you record a wav-file with amplitube? You should definetley record into a wav-file than you can edit it in audacity and put it behind your muted Video of th camera=) The sound seems to bee a little to distorted, but hard to say if it comes from the camera or from the amplitube settings … But definetly very nice playing!! =)=)

      this is my setup

Guitar is pluged into a Netbook (running amplitube) then from the headphone port it is pluged into a PC which is running audacity which plays the backing track while recording the netbook (amplitube) πŸ™‚

unfortunatly because i use the mic ports it leaves a slight distortion on the sound from the netbook which is then passed on to the PC πŸ™

I am looking to get rockfrog to emliminate the distortion as it uses a USB port and acts as a low latency guitar interface

      hope this makes sence πŸ™‚

Cool, i will do a few covers for just the Malcolm parts tonight n upload them hopfuly you can correct the errors i make πŸ˜›

My girlfriend got an iphone for xmas (bust my wallet) so i will be using that as a camera as mine is crap lol, will be the same audio setup

What backing tracks do you use? i have scrounged the net for them and managed to get some decent ones for lead and rhythm but finding ones with vocals (mainly Bon) is a real pain

I can also recommend the external M-Audio FastTrack USB sound interface, the smaller one has an inout for a guitar and an additional microphone input. I get great results with it.

Unfortunatly the video is slightly out of sync n my timing isnt exact πŸ˜› but here it is my cover of one of my favorite ACDC songs Shoot to Thrill

Will be doing black and back soon and a couple of others πŸ™‚ cant wait… need to get a better camera and will hopfuly have rockfrog to get rid of that horrible hiss sound on my recordings although it is not as noticable when playing but you can hear it at the begining

im open to any tips πŸ™‚

    salute!
    Ant
