Renato @ Florida; I bought and started learning to play guitar about two years ago, a bit late in life (I am 39). Still a beginner, but motivated and inspired by Fil and other 'bedroom rockers'. I've been posting a few videos here and sound bites on soundcloud, as sort of a logbook with snippets of how my playing (hopefully) evolves, and it may help inspire others who love music to take an instrument, practice, play, and have fun. To contact me by email, my gmail.com username is the same as my username here.

      Thanks, Rob ๐Ÿ™‚
Yeah, I’m pretty happy with GR4’s tone (the guitar is a Epiphone SG with stock pickups). I’ll post the settings soon. Cheers!

Renato, I love those slow downs , they are much better to learn from that tabs. Thanks for your work, really blowing my ass here. And you have improved much, the first bend vibrato was ….. bomb, ( love bomb, forget bout that, got to write it)

Thank you sir ๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah, I felt playing at slow tempo helped me with solos a lot, and the songs I’m playing are I think doable for those beginning to practice solos, I’m glad you liked it.
Bend vibratos are beginning to come more naturally.. When I get one right, it’s just one of the most beautiful sounds there is ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers! Renato

Just one more I’ve been transcribing and practicing, thought it might be helpful to other beginners (Guitar Rig 4, “Let there be lead” settings). Cheers, Renato
